How it started
Before the cameras, websites and YouTube channels, it started with an interest in being on screen.
I first got properly involved in film and video around 2000, after working as an extra on the Vinnie Jones film Mean Machine. That experience sparked a bigger interest in TV, film and production.
From there came a small slot on BBC’s Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, supporting artist work, indie film auditions and a Channel 4 pilot called Mischief Mansion, starring Alan Carr. One of the people I worked with on screen encouraged me to audition for larger independent feature film parts, which pushed me further into the world of production.
Eventually the interest moved behind the camera. I started filming, editing and building content myself, which has grown into corporate video production, YouTube channels, local stories, podcasting, websites and platform-led projects.
